Responsibilities
- Manage the Team to build and maintain new and existing client relationships through a strategic Sales approach increasing sales activities and achieving set quarterly/yearly targets.
- Management of the Sales team includes motivating, coaching, developing appraising staff members to ensure that the team:
* are fully trained to meet the needs of their roles;
* achieve or exceed their objectives;
* create and apply best practices in delivering training and presentations to our prospective and existing clients;
* deploy the team effectively to maximize their impact on our client base
- Responsible for recruiting, retaining and training the team to optimize performance
- The Team should also be managed in order to demonstrate the superiority and value of the Company's products to potential and existing clients. This will often involve numerous client meetings, quality presentations, model discussions, product demonstrations and drafting proposals.
- The Sales Manager will also work with internal partners and his resources to manage client relationships and to ensure Moody's products continue to provide market leading risk management solutions
- Work closely with Product Management and Product Strategy to promote improvement of product quality and identify new sources of revenue through insightful market feedback
- You will prepare and circulate market insight comments and enhance our hypothesis-based selling efforts that help to create awareness of Moody's Analytics expertise internally.

Qualifications
Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; some positions may require advanced degrees.
- Strong proficiency in relevant functional/technical skills and project/functional area management experience.
- Strong background and understanding of enterprise risk software, consulting services, and the underlying technology needed to implement such solutions.
- Proven track record in managing a team of sales professionals to meet sales goals within an environment such as product, model or software sales, to financial market participants such as banks, insurance companies, buy-side and/or sell side institutions.
- Strong Leadership skills matured in structured sales environments.
- The appropriate candidate should have sound leadership skills and the ability to engage in public speaking events as part of a participation to conferences and seminars to promote Moody's Analytics franchise.
- A good understanding of credit risk management principles and associated regulations.
- Good understanding of finance and risk management, acquired either by advanced study or through industry experience.
- Ability to demonstrate a grasp of the factors driving our clients' businesses, so that appropriate advice and guidance can be given as to how they may be able to achieve their goals.
- The knowledge of an additional languages will be considered very positive.
- A background in a pre-sales, support, training or consulting will also be considered.

- Excellent communication skills both oral and written are required to produce press releases, promotional literature etc.
- Must have the motivation and ability to excel in an intense, high energy, selling environment.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, and you can confidently present/engage with senior managers in our clients businesses and within Moody's.
- The willingness to travel, the job will require visiting many prospects and clients within the EMEA region.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ability to give a presentation and lead a discussion in a second language.
