The Sales Support team is the anchor of the Sales department and sales cycle. In this role, you will work with our many sales teams globally, spanning multiple product lines. The goals of the Sales Support Specialist are to assist the various sales groups to universally increase sales, as well as provide the fundamental knowledge and materials required for them to do so.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assist with Requests for Proposals/Information (RFP/RFI)
- Discuss the use of products, emphasizing product features based on analyses of customers' needs and on knowledge of product capabilities
- Maintain a working knowledge of company products, special sales programs and marketing efforts within the sales division.
- Creating presentations demonstrating how the product meets the client's needs.
- Liaise with other Thomson Reuters divisions and departments to create one knowledge base of information
The ideal candidate:
- Must be an enthusiastic, energetic self-starter and be able to work independently
- Must be a quick learner with a great work ethic, able to take on new tasks and perform high quality work
- Has ability to function in fast-paced environment and in perform duties required in a fast-growing company
- Has prior experience with Proposal, Requests for Proposal (RFP) or Requests for Information (RFI)
- Has experience created high quality and effective sales presentations for Fortune 500 companies
- Has an interest in being a crucial role in the Sales team and the sales process
- Has the ability to tackle new challenges daily and a flexible attitude toward job requirements
Bachelor's degree
PC and Microsoft proficiency
Experience with Photoshop and Adobe tools is a plus
1-4 years of related work experience is required
