Our client is looking for a ambitious Sales Trader Emissions and Renewable UK.

Functie

As a sales trader you will build up your own portfolio of industrial clients throughout the UK. You activities and attitude can best be described as a mixture between a trader and an account manager. Since our client believes that a good understanding of the culture and language will enable you to connect better to local clients they have a preference for you being born and raised in the UK. Contact with your clients is the most important activity in this job and the telephone and email are your main tools to achieve this. Although they aim that their Sales Traders plan at least six times a year a trip to visit their clients, the majority of the job is performed on the trading floor in Amsterdam. You will help your clients manage their Environmental position through sharing the knowledge and solutions of our client. Through this service you will start and maintain a long-term relationship with your clients and facilitate their environmental transactions. As a company our client always wants to create a win-win, ensuring clients will return to us for their next transaction. In order to realize this the Sales Traders need to built a deep and trustworthy relation with their clients. Based upon this type of relation with the clients they are able come up with innovative solutions that outperform the competition.

During the first months our client will train the new colleague to develop extremely valuable commercial and communicative skills that will benefit both the candidate and our client. In order to accomplish this they are looking for a person that is eager to learn, can handle constructive criticism and is not afraid to fail and try again. They help clients to reach their objectives in environmental issues and are specialized in trading products such as; Carbon allowances, voluntary Green Certificates and local Tradable Green Certificates. All the trading is done on a back-to-back basis without a proprietary trading book. The business model is to monetize on the margin between the best matching bid and offer in each market without any speculative trading on their own account.

They rely on the trading flow and trust from their clients in order to help them maximize their profits whilst reducing their risk. Our client does that by sharing their knowledge and contacts and by arranging flexible terms and aggressive pricing for transactions. By this way our client makes sure it's clients feel confident transacting in this new, governmental regulated, volatile and un-transparent markets.
