The Salesforce.com Administrator will act as a key member of the Sales Support department. As the administrator for the Customer Relationship Management database system, Salesforce.com, this person will create and implement business processes and systems, and develop and analyze reports and metrics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Function as the designated Salesforce.com system administrator
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Monitor the CRM system, ERP system, and internal documents and databases for data integrity
- Design and generate reports for routine departmental metrics and ad hoc management reporting
- Analyze data to evaluate sales force performance and process effectiveness and recommend improvements
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and workflows
- Assist in the development, documentation, and implementation of procedures and processes to optimize and measure sales performance
- Design and conduct training for Sales and Marketing department employees on system functionality, report generation and dashboard navigation; provide guidance on data interpretation
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Education, Training, Skills and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business or technical related discipline
- Minimum 2-5 years business analytics and/or customer service experience
- Expert Salesforce.com experience; Administrator Certification required
- Salesforce.com Developer and/or Advanced Administrator certifications are a plus
- Biotech or Life Science industry experience highly desired
- Computer proficiency - MS Windows, Word, Excel, Access; including ability to create reports, graphs, flow charts, and pivot tables
- Basic understanding and competency with Visio and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to meet continuously changing priorities and challenges
- Proven experience driving tasks and projects to completion
