Position Description
Salesforce Developer
Vaco Technology is searching for a Salesforce Developer in Richmond, Va. Only qualified applicants need apply. This is a permanent position, and the Salesforce Developer will be expected to take full ownership of existing Salesforce.com support processes while also serving as a Salesforce.com lead developer and architect for major Distribution and Marketing projects. Other Responsibilites Include:
- Directing a team of local and remote developers
- Monitoring of all system components and immediate response to problems and alerts
- Prompt communication and resolution of problems reported by end users
- Routine development efforts including bug fixes and service requests (- Analysis and design of Salesforce.com solutions that meet project requirements while maintaining end-to-end architectural integrity
- Work with business support team to develop business requirements and technical specifications
- Work with other technical teams to integrate Salesforce.com with other enterprise systems
- Follow Project Management Office guidelines for project execution and documentation
- Develop and maintain standards for Salesforce.com development and support, including code version management, change control, bug/request tracking, release schedules, and code reviews
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and relevant system development technologies
