Sales/Product Specialist – Emerging Markets recruitment

Our client, one of the largest global asset managers, is looking for a Sales/Product Specialist to join their Emerging Markets group and serve as an extension of the various portfolio management teams in representing the products of the group.  This group has assets under management of approximately $20 billion and provides clients with exposure across all assets classes through a number of different products including private equity, hedge funds, and traditional long only strategies  - both equity and credit.  The group will invest in all growing markets, but has a particular focus on Brazil, China and India at the present.  

The successful candidate will be someone with an understanding of, or deep interest in emerging markets and is familiar with the investor base who puts money to work in this space including being part of the sales process.  We need someone who will be viewed as knowledgeable and compelling with investors and who will be able to represent with conviction the views of the various portfolio management teams. 

A minimum of 5 years sales and or product specialist experience is required. Prior hedge fund experience is preferred.  Candidates must have academic degrees from prestigious institutions.
