Sanitation Lead
Kelly Services is looking for someone with experience as a Sanitation Lead in a food manufacturing environment. Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in duties concerned with sanitation programs. Some programs include: master sanitation schedule, drain program, daily operating reports, pest control, uniforms and sanitation standard operating procedures and sanitation training. Directs food handlers and production personnel in sanitary procedures Directs cleaning of equipment and work areas Inspects premises for unsanitary practices and conditions with corrective action Compiles required reports regarding regular inspections, sanitation violations and steps taken to resolve deficiencies Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations Cleans, sanitizes and oversees cleaning of equipment and work areas Confers with sanitation management and production personnel on sanitation problems, and performs work practices to improve sanitation standard Inspects products and equipment for conformity to Federal and State sanitation laws including plant standards Resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems Provides direction to other non-exempt employees as instructed by management Knowledge of food safety, GMP and other related policies as required Ensure a safe work environment, must abide by all safety policies and procedures and it is required to report any unsafe act, potential issues or other safety concerns. Must adhere to all company policies and procedures High school or General education degree (GED), 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of Excel and Word; Fork Lift Training While performing the duties of this job, employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend and use hands, or touch objects. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
