SAP – Banking – Manager recruitment
The Operations Applications team is looking to build its banking capability and become a market leader, through the development and delivery of successful solutions across Retail and Wholesale banking. We are global partners for SAP and have a strong track record of delivering complex Enterprise Transformation programmes, and executing against the advice we provide.
The Operations Applications group delivers business focussed transformation programmes supported by process design, people solutions and technology. The Operations banking group will focus on operational improvements and system implementation within:
- Payments and Collections
- SAP implementation
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on large ERP implementations and integration projects within the banking sector and develop expertise within the banking industry and be responsible for client development.
- Provide value adding domain knowledge of either Retail Banking (savings, mortgages, cards etc), or Wholesale banking (cash management, commercial loans, trade finance etc) or Private banking, to deliver successful implementations and projects
- Work with IT and Finance stakeholders to enable timely delivery of quality outputs
- Working with a team to implement the agreed solutions
- Support pre-sales, bid development and client sales presentations
Personal Attributes:
- Extensive experience in the financial services industry, particularly Retail and Wholesale banking, with good product knowledge
- Experience within Test phases, from planning to execution
- Experience in senior stakeholder management
- Knowledge of banking processes and business challenges
- Broad knowledge of SAP applications, their capabilities and value proposition
- Experience of successful delivery of SAP implementation programmes
- Detail and results focused
- Knowledge and experience of banking controls and reports, such as regulatory and statutory reporting
