SAP / Cognos Specialist Job in Brno 63900, Jihomoravsky Region Czech Republic
- Work closely with the Finance Super User and Key Business users and management to ensure that business requirements are accurately translated into functional designs and system specifications and updating the Business and SAP/Cognos Blueprint/Configuration
- Active monitoring and coordination of their requirements
- Provide 2nd line application support to internal customer community in line with agreed service levels and escalation rules
- Ensure all developments/configuration changes are fully system tested in readiness for user acceptance testing phase of the development life cycle
- Liaise and provide support and advise to other SAP, Technology and Business team members on an on-going basis as the needs arise
- Liaise with external vendor responsible for SAP Cognos solution
- Carry out maintenance and development changes of SAP/Cognos approved by the Senior SAP Specialist
- Provide support to future SAP integration projects
- Delivery of developments to time, quality and cost
- Accuracy of SAP/Cognos Configuration – internal/external audit
- Quality and timeliness of specifications and documentation of changes
- Effectiveness of Internal customer relationships
- Application Support meets target SLA performance
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in the IT field
- Cognos or SAP certification is an advantage
- Cognos 8 Controller, Planning and BI knowledge
- Ability to transform functional requirements into reports
- Minimum of 3 years technical experience with Cognos on SAP
- Report development experience
- Speak and write English fluently
- General financial accounting knowledge
- Energetic and creative with a talent for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical problems
- A self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Functional knowledge of at least one SAP module (eg. FI/CO, MM, SD..) is an advantage
