SAP Delivery Lead - PP, TPM
Primary Function / Primary Goals / Objectives:

This SAP Functional IT Specialist position will require the successful candidate to partner with the business across IT and business groups to lead the programs / projects delivering applications and functionality supporting Enterprise Manufacturing Supply Chain - manufacturing initiatives. The successful candidate will become part of the GIS MFG / QA / TPM Solutions organization delivering programs across the enterprise level.
Provide strong technical development abilities working with SAP Production Planning / Process Industry (PP/PI) manufacturing module. Experience in handling manufacturing master data and Third party manufacturing model designing. Develop, execute and manage IT projects and programs within a defined scope. Work with IT and business executives to harmonize, rationalize and re-design supply chain processes based on SAP capabilities. Expedite, manage and coordinate a wide range of interrelated IT program / project activities Projects could consist of a broad range of business process initiatives focused on but not limited to Plan to Produce processes (Materials Management, Inventory Management, Quality Management, and Process Manufacturing).
This position is based in Lake County, Illinois.
Duties Responsibilities:
• Drive decisions in the Manufacturing and TPM (Third party manufacturing) area cohesively with business leads
• Design, test, document, build, and maintain PP/PI configuration, SAP objects and processes
• Maintain, monitor, and develop SAP PP/PI processes
• Develop the strategy and governance model for manufacturing master data (Recipe, Routings, etc)
• Develop functional and technical designs
• Coordinate with GIS Application Engineering peers, project team members, SME's and business users in the development of designs and system enhancements
• Assist with test data and scripts for functional validation testing
• Troubleshoot and resolve user issues in the testing of the application
• Create documentation as required for SDLC practices
• Coordinate with security team
Additional responsibilities:

3. Provide project and enhancement feedback and status
4. Coordinate with ABAP personnel as required.
5. Complete special projects as assigned.
6. Assist with business requirements gathering.
7. Support Business User requests as assigned.
8. Assist with enhancement and support requests as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
* Minimum 9+ years of proven IT experience to include 5 or more years SAP PP/PI manufacturing development.
* Hands-on experience with SAP master data for PP/PI processes (BOM’s, resources, recipe, ECN’s). Experience deploying PP/PI SAP systems.
* Proven experience implementing SAP Supply Chain projects, including experience with MM, PP/PI, QM modules, required.
* Global - multi-site, multi-division large project implementation experience preferred.
* Customer service and consulting skills with strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
*Proven experience in the execution of IT/business strategies.
* Experience interfacing with non-R/3 applications for data exchanges.
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Excellent team skills with ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
* Broad technical experience required.
* Able to travel up to 20% of time (domestic international) depending on project assignments.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Proficient with SAP version SAP ECC 6.0 or higher preferred.
* Experience leading others. Pharma or FDA experiences a plus.
