JOB TITLE: SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Functional Analyst
Summary:
Responsibilities will span most aspects of SAP and the ideal candidate will have extensive SAP skills particularly associated with SD (Sales and Distribution) and the Vistex Commission bolt-on solution. Ideal candidate will possess good process knowledge of order processing, delivery, distribution, and returns. Minimum 7 years experience in SAP SD configuration and must have completed several lifecycle implementations of a SAP Solution in a hands-on role, and familiar with SAP implementation methodology.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
The role will require the analyst to support, design, configure, develop, test, and implement efficient, cost effective solutions within the SAP landscape concentrating on SD and Vistex (commissions).
The SD Analyst must have a good knowledge and expertise of SAP Configuration and User Support experience in and around the SAP Sales Distribution module. Additional experience requires multiple life-cycle SAP implementation and great understanding and integration with the various SAP modules. Essential responsibilities include:
- · Must have deep knowledge of SD including process chain for sales order processing, procurement, delivery, distribution, returns and credit memo processing, contracts and schedule agreements, material determination, material listing/exclusion, and product selection.
- · Must have excellent knowledge in configuring and maintaining the Vistex bolt-on solution for commission calculations.
- Understanding of Customer, Materials and other master data and their integration to various SAP modules.
- Integration knowledge with SD/MM/FI modules.
- Create ad-hoc reports as required.
- Defining functional business requirements. Suggest options and recommendation solutions to key business users.

Education and/or Experience:
- The SD Analyst should have a Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or Business discipline or equivalent work experience.
- 7 years experience in performing SAP configuration within the SD module, including experience with Sales Order processing, pricing, billing, AR, CM, Returns, and master data maintenance.
- Ability to configure and maintain the Vistex commission system bolt-on.
- Multiple full life-cycle SAP implementations experience; must include one SAP ECC implementation at a minimum.
- Knowledge and experience with BW3.5/BI 7.0 and SAP ECC reporting tools a plus.
- Solid understanding of standard financial business processes.
- Ability to define, create and complete a technical task without a great deal of guidance
- Must be capable of working flexible hours sometimes under pressure of aggressive deadlines
