SAS Credit Risk Consultant recruitment
Fantastic opportunities are currently available to join this market-leading risk consulting firm. The firm are an internationally renowned consulting business with offices in over 20 Countries and over 2500 employees. This role sits within their growing risk management function and will involve a mix of technical and consulting work. The role will predominantly focus on the retail banking space but, as the role develops, the successful candidate will gain increased exposure to projects in corporate and financial markets functions.
Core responsibilities of the role will include:
- Working on a broad range of projects with a mix of clients.
- Planning and coordinating risk related projects.
- Communicating complex analytical concepts to a range of stakeholders.
- Development, calibration and validation of risk rating models for PD, LGD and EAD estimations in line with regulatory requirements.
- Being involved in the determination, development and documentation of data requirements and modelling assumptions.
In terms of experience, you will have:
- A minimum of three years experience working within a financial risk management function (ideally credit risk).
- A strong understanding of financial products including retail, corporate and wholesale.
- Strong statistical and modelling experience.
- An understanding of the current regulatory environment.
- A willingness to work onsite at client sites.
- Strong SAS experience.
- Previous consulting experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
