SCA Electronics Technician Maintenance III- Common Battle Command Simulations Equipment - for the WFF at Ft. Bliss, TX
CSC is searching for an SCA Electronics Technician Maintenance III (Common Battle Command Simulations Equipment) for the Warfighter Focus Contract at Ft. Bliss, TX. This person will apply advanced technical knowledge to solve unusually complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers' manual or similar documents. Examples of such problems include determining the location and density of circuitry, evaluating electromagnetic radiation, isolating malfunctions, and incorporating engineering changes.
Work typically requires a detailed understanding of the interrelationships of circuits. Exercises independent judgment in performing such tasks as making circuit analyses, calculating wave forms, and tracing relationship in signal flow. Uses complex test instruments such as high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer control equipment. Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices.
May provide technical guidance to lower level technicians. Primary responsible for training device maintenance and support on the various systems of medium to high fidelity training devices. This may include full motion systems, visual and display systems, and computer network technology.
SCA Electronics Technician Maintenance III requires the technical ability to troubleshoot failures down to discreet component level by applying advanced knowledge in electronics and logical fault diagnostic abilities. Inspects and maintains ALSE for aviators and crew members. Qualifications
