Salary £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

A high ranking and delightful independent school in Central London is seeking a highly capable Finance Manager to join their staff from June or July 2015 as a permanent member of staff. The school is set in the heart of one of London's most coveted areas and offers pupils and staff a charming environment in which to learn and work.

The role of Finance Manager is an essential position to this school, the appointed candidate will take full responsibility for all of the schools finances and will work closely with member of the Senior Management team and wider school staff. As Finance Manager key duties will include:

- Monthly Management Accounts
- Producing termly fee invoices
- Reconciliation of all Fee Payments
- Staff payroll through an external Payroll Bureau
- Prepare all data required for the annual audit
- Liaise with Auditors
- Complete end of year HMRC Returns
- Processing invoices, record nominal ledger, input petty cash

To be considered for this role you must have:

- Qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA or part qualified with relevant experience
- Experience of practical accounting, bookkeeping and payroll within a school environment
- Experience using Sage Accounting packages
- Confident in using Information Management Systems and able to learn new systems and process quickly
- Excellent time management skills
- Previous experience working within School Finance, Charities or Not for Profit Sector
