The Scientist 1 position works under the direction of a Supervisor in the Validation / Stability group. This position will perform analytical testing for pharmaceutical and cosmetic formulations and assist in designing, conducting, analyzing and reporting the results of laboratory experiments supporting validation and stability studies. Major Activities and Responsibilities: * Finished product testing to support informal and premarket stability testing * Perform verification and validation testing * Peer review of GMP data for accuracy, completeness and conformance * Troubleshooting problems that arise during routine testing * Maintenance activities, laboratory maintenance, SOP updates * Additional assignments related to maintaining laboratory operations will be assigned on an as-needed basis. They may include preparing standard operating procedures as well as participating on safety or audit teams. Qualifications Education: * Required: Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Chemistry) Required: * Minimum 3 years work experience in pharmaceutical finished product testing. * Proficiency in the use of Word and Excel, as well as strong technical skills * Thorough practical and theoretical knowledge of analytical chemistry and experience working with a variety of techniques (HPLC, GC, AA, IR, and UV-Vis). * Maintain accurate and detailed records in accordance with GMP documentation. * Participate as a team member as well as independently demonstrate strong ethical and scientific behaviors Our employees are the key to our company's success.
