2nd Shift Screen Printer
Job Description
Under minimal supervision performs machine operator tasks in the setup, maintenance, operation and trouble shooting of a screen printing press. Sets-up jobs and does pre-production print check to ensure proper machine set-up, registration, ink viscosity, color and print quality by performing the following duties:
-Reviews work order package with in-process inspector during set up.
-Responsible for make ready set up of production equipment.
-Runs samples, makes adjustments for quality and color.
-Inspects final pre-run, run, adjust and troubleshoot equipment and machinery.
-Directs and coordinates the in process inspector.
-Setup of drying equipment with respect to heat and speed.
-Maintain a clean and safe work area.
-Performs other tasks as assigned…
**Requirements: Production equipment and machinery operation skills from past experience is helpful. Candidate must be reliable, independent and must be willing and able to train. Candidate should have solid trouble shooting skills and willing to perform routine maintenance on press.
