SDK Product Manager Job in London W1W 6QL, London UK

In this role you will manage the Software Development Tool-Kit [made up of JavaScript Libraries, Plug-ins and supporting developer resources] as a product that enables internal and external groups of developers to build web based campaigns on the Maxymiser platform. As a result Developers will be able to use a version controlled SDK of standardised, supported and documented components and methods whilst contributing to SDK development through sharing details of plug-ins which support enhanced solutions.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Work with Global Technical Support (GTS) and Engineering to develop a standardised and version controlled SDK which includes automated testing

·         To consider development candidates for feature and functional development of the Maxymiser SDK based on the enhanced functions within platform releases, customer feedback [GTS and Clients] and developer initiated plug-in’s

·         To translate those requirements into specifications for Development

·         To support QA and release management process to ensure satisfactory quality controls, regression testing and SLA support

·         To support defined numbered versions of the SDK simultaneously and manage release and support cycles

·         Manage an environment for the development of SDK Plug-ins based on developer contributions and campaign use cases

·         Maintain documented records of Maxymiser client accounts and their current supported SDK versions

·         Provide Help guides, Release notes, FAQ’s and supporting documents

·         Support new version releases with appropriate client knowledge transfer activities

·         Provide forums for peer based support for developer plug-ins

 REQUIREMENTS:

·         Experience in developing and managing Software Development Kit (SDK) and in web development (especially in producing web development tools)

·         Experience of writing developer focussed documentation

·         Excellent knowledge of front-end code (JavaScript, (X)HTML, AJAX, jQuery etc.)

·         Understanding of online tracking technologies

·         A consultative approach to issue investigation, analysis and resolution

·         An understanding of how Maxymiser Product range works and how it is implemented

·         API development/management, Web-Service development/management and contribution to well-known open source frameworks advantageous

·         Bachelor’s degree (technical education required)

·         Strong analytical and problem solving skills

·         Fluency in English

·         Knowledge of Russian would be advantageous

·         Readiness to frequently travel on business
