Requirement - DVP, Customer Analytics - Marketing The Divisional Vice President, customer analytics is responsible for providing strategic leadership on customer loyalty and marketing analytics and to ensure core analytical supports for marketing decisions at Sears Holdings Corporation. This role will provide leadership and coordination in marketing strategy formulation and execution; leverage customer analytics through the use of advanced data mining, analytics and modeling to drive significant growth of SHC business. Support/partner with Loyalty program segment owners, marketing leaders, Business Units leaders and cross-functional teams and be the champion of change in ensuring SHC embraces state-of-the-art analytic solutions to drive customer engagement. Fully accountable on the outcome of analytics improvements implemented and committed to have significant impact on the financial performance of SHC. Job Responsibilities: - Collaborate closely with Loyalty program leaders and BU leaderships to develop winning strategies and proper executions. Focus on customer segmentation, offer optimization, test and learn analysis, and the loyalty program performance. - Drive actionable customer insights through member data and communicate to the leaderships on planned initiatives, final results, and recommend next steps. - Leverage Loyalty member data to help solve business problems and find creative solutions. Lead and participate in the strategic planning process - Attract and retain the best talent for the organization. - Lead team of highly technical senior managers, mentor team members in their career development. Guide direct reports in areas such as technical skills development; project management; and cross-functional leadership. - Lead cross-functional teams and be the catalyst of change management - Understand operational challenges, scope current state and baseline key performance metrics - Execute projects within aggressive timelines - Oversee both on-shore and off-shore Analytic resources, manage full cycle of high impact analytical projects. Skills/Experience: -Prior experience with Market-Mix Analysis or similar. -Master or MBA in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or other related fields with emphasis in quantitative methods. - 10+ years of managing technical teams; strong communication and interpersonal skills; effective manager of people and strong team-building skills. - Highly skilled in problem solving and able to convey complex analysis to senior level management. - Proven ability to envision, and execute strategic customer analysis objectives from start to finish - Must be able to demonstrate a pattern of success in using advanced quantitative analytic methods to solve business problems - Strong domain expertise with experiences in multivariate statistical analysis including regression, regression tree, logistic regression, cluster analysis and ANOVA. - Big picture thinker - business orientation, PL / portfolio mentality - Highly ambitious - seeks accountability in a challenging business environment and thrives on success in the marketplace through innovative problem solving - Must have strong leadership and communication skills.
