Securities, FICC, Special Assets Group, Analyst

The Special Assets Group is part of the Securities Division of Goldman Sachs and is looking for an investment professional to focus on corporate credit. The analyst role is SAG is ideal for someone who wants to learn investment skills and enjoys working in a demanding and fast-paced market-oriented environment.

The Special Asset Group (SAG) resides within the Securities Division (FICC-Credit Trading) of Goldman Sachs and oversees corporate debt, across sectors, spanning from Investment Grade to Distressed. The London SAG team consists of portfolio managers, Credit Analysts and Quantitative Analysts. The analyst role focuses on investment analysis and portfolio management assistance.

Responsibilities Include

• Analysis of corporate credits and develop recommendations alongside the Portfolio Manager
• Portfolio management including review of industry sectors, concentrated positions, correlations, risk metrics
• Execution of cash and derivative trades

Basic Qualifications

 • Experience in Asset Management, Investment Banking (Leveraged Finance, MA), Fixed Income trading, Trading, Consulting, or Investment Research
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; attention to detail
