Role summary

Provide commercial leadership and governance in the execution of 'complex' new business opportunities including profitability strategic fit analysis
Coordinate with key product, operational, technology and risk partners and ensure key deal parameters are properly communicate and governed.
With support of key partners, lead the development of end to end client operational and technical solutions
Ensure execution, operation, credit and reputational risk fully captured in deal management process
Input to the Post Deal Review Process methodology to continually drive execution improvements

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership ExecutionOn determination and ratification of initial deal opportunities, assemble cross-functional virtual teams to structure and execute a deal strategy.Working with the virtual team of key partners - Product, Sales, RM, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, RFP team, Real Estate Mgmt, Finance, Pricing, Onboarding, Client Service, HR, Legal, Tax - plan and define a clear and structured project road map to execute new opportunities.Lead execution of the win plans with appropriate governance models and reporting to senior management.Identify and manage out all controllable risks in executing win strategies.Ensure all relevant key stakeholders are engaged and sign offs from partners are coordinated and executed seemlessly.
Strategic Analysis and ScopingWorking closely with sales leads, establish scope, product / service requirements, strategic fit and commercial viability of new business opportunities.Working with partner teams, ensure scoped opportunities are qualified and approved by relevant internal partners to proceed - credit, risk, compliance, product, segment leaders.
Coordinate and drive the delivery of commercial pricing ensuring all key data parameters are captured and profitability criteria are met.
Continual ImprovementExecute post mortem analysis on deals won and lost to continually improve deal management process and win strategies.Implement tactical solutions to plug immediate gaps and contribute ideas to strategic evolution of deal management process.

Qualifications

ExperienceExperience in Financial Services particularly Securities Servicing Industry / Global Custodian Firm.Knowledge of core Securities Servicing Products - Custody, Securities Lending, Clearance, Collateral Management, Derivatives Services, Middle Office outsourcing and Funds Services.Experience
