Security Engineer / Architect Opportunity Job in Lexington 02420
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage the security overlay of the IT architectural framework
- Analyze and recommend strategy for adoption of Security Solutions protecting infrastructure and data.
- Design, develop and document security services that mitigate risks.
- Responsible for the implementation and ongoing accountability of information security controls, incident management and reporting.
- Coordinate internal and external operational teams and staff.
- Develop metrics to evaluate components of security maturity (i.e. incident response, patch compliance and vulnerability risk state, security abnormalities,
- log exception tracking, and controls objectives adherence).
Business Technical Skills/Requirements:
- 10+ years hands on experience in large-scale enterprise IT infrastructures.
- 7+ years specific IT security experience in operations, project management, design, configuration and audit.
- Applied and working knowledge of the field of Information Technology Operations and/or Security Operations.
- Ability to apply technical security standards and tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot and mentor technical staff in formulating conclusions and judgments.
- Experience working in a change control environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct, manage and lead multifaceted, highly technical individuals and projects.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills. Excellent problem solving and analytic abilities are strongly.
- CISSP, GIAC, or equivalent security certifications.
- Strong working knowledge of major compliance requirements: HIPAA, PCI-DSS, 21CFRp11, SOX, MA201-CMR-17.00; Safeharbor.
- BA/BS degree; Masters or other advanced degree preferred.
