We have an immediate need for a Security Specialist
Job Description:
Positions name: Security Analyst Support
Positions description: 1. Analyze physical security usage patterns and business processes.
2. Gather requirements for IT solutions for need areas.
3. Take inventory of existing physical security systems.
4. Develop conceptual architecture.
5. Identify gaps between desired state and current state.
6. Assist with Manage the system design of proposed solutions (custom or third party).
7. Coordinate with system administration, database administration, network administration, and physical security teams to design/deploy systems with a scalable architecture.
8. Assist with Lead the IT systems portion of the RFP process for selecting third party tools, applications and systems.
Job Role Skill Set: Security Analyst
Requested service/service area:
Required skills: a) Must be an expert with deep experience in the design, deployment and use of IT systems and solutions for physical security e.g. building access, surveillance, security detailing, emergency alerts, and physical safety.
b) Must have strong knowledge of industry best practices and be able to detect shortcomings and propose solutions for the physical security teams IT portfolio.
c) Must have demonstrated knowledge of the technical aspects of IT solutions (including resolving/managing technical issues around server, OS, database, network, storage and security-related specialized hardware).
d) Background in intelligence, military or security sector highly preferred.
Assignment period: 12 months
