The client i am representing is looking to bring in a Quality Engineer that can add value to the organisation by instilling lean techniques to help improve plant efficiency whilst ensuring cost reduction is a primary concern.
The responsibilities of the role are;
- Involvement with PPAP APQP during NPI process
- Internal problem solving
- Customer Supplier facing activities as required
- Internal auditing to TS16949
- Introducing Promoting lean manufacturing processes
The requirements of the role are;
- Strong automotive background
- fully conversant with PPAP, APQP FMEA
- Internal auditing to TS16949
- Lean manufacturing continuous improvement experience
- Strong customer / supplier facing skills
