Loan Consultant
JOB SUMMARY Primary responsibility for performing sales and production functions related to meeting the financing needs of loan applicants through consideration of all available product options within prescribed performance standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (in order of importance):
1. Executes against published MAC process model re: communication standards, cycle times, partnering with Main Client and other departments.
2. Assists customers in the selection of loan product and securing loan approval.
3. Reviews rate lock parameters with customers and provides rate information.
4. Prepares and distributes all Federal and State disclosures for product selected.
5. Assists in the development of alternative scenarios to ensure loan approval.
6. Develops benefit statements to assist in the delivery of counter-offers, rate negotiations and product explanations.
7. Responds to all customer inquiries.
8. Provides guidance to peers and junior staff.
9. Reviews files for compliance.
SCOPE:
• Contributes through independent work at the individual level.
• Does not directly supervise.
• Contacts business partners.
Qualifications:
• Minimum High School diploma
