Position Descrition
Senior Account Executive, Display Advertising Sales
Shopzilla is an authority in online retail with over a decade of experience building products that service shoppers, merchants, and brands.
- Shopzilla connects over 40 million shoppers with over 100 million products from tens of thousands of retailers with its unique portfolio of engaging and informative websites, including; Bizrate.com, Beso.com, and Shopzilla.com.
- Shopzilla connects Fortune 500 brands with consumers using proprietary audience channels networks yielding value throughout the marketing chain from building awareness through sale.
We’re looking to expand our display advertising team with proven sales professionals who have showcased a successful track record working with Fortune 500 marketers and their digital agencies.
As our Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for:
- Generating and growing display advertising revenue across multiple product lines
- Meeting and exceeding target revenue goals in the defined region.
- Proactively prospecting, qualifying, growing and maintaining a regional territory account list.
- Developing and cultivating deep relationships with agency executives and direct clients.
- Managing all aspects of advertising campaigns to ensure we are meeting performance requirements and optimizing as needed.
- Providing market feedback as it relates to competitors, new products and advertising trends.
- Identify client business needs and proactively develop customized marketing solutions to meet their objectives.
Our ideal future "Zillan" would have:
- 3+ years of online media sales experience.
- Proven track record of successfully generating new business and delivering against revenue goals.
- Demonstrated success in account relationship management.
- Self-starter who is results-driven and proactive in driving revenue and increasing the client base.
- Excellent presentation skills; comfortable presenting to large groups.
- Strong analytical skills and be committed to creating new business opportunities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent.
Additional Considerations:
- Deep relationships at Starcom, OMD, Digitas, and other digital advertising agencies in Illinois, Texas, Michigan, Ohio, Minneapolis and Wisconsin.
- Recent experience in the behavioral targeting space is a strong plus
