Senior Accountant – Reinsurance recruitment
Our client is a global reinsurance company which provides a comprehensive set of financial services solution for it’s clients across Europe and Asia. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the team in Singapore for the financial reporting of one of it’s legal entities.
Responsibilities
- oversees all finance and accounting matters pertaining to each legal entity in the scope of responsibilities
- including statutory financial filings, treasury, tax and other associated accounting activities.
- ensures that all Group reporting requirements are fulfilled, in compliance with Group IFRS standards.
- ensures that all Local statutory reporting requirements are fulfilled, in compliance with the Local statutory accounting standards.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of a tertiary institution, majoring in accountancy
- 5 – 7 years of experience in both external audit and insurance accounting
- Independent thinker willing to work outside the box
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated and able to work in a team
