A mid-sized hospitality company is searching for a Senior Accountant to join their team. This position is located in Chicago and reports to the Manager of External Reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide financial information and analyses of financial results
- Resolve general ledger accounts and reconcile discrepancies in a
timely manner
- Uphold fixed asset and depreciation records
- Audit of financial statements
- Quarterly reviews assistance
- Contribute to preparation of SEC filings
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA required, at least three years of related experience, SEC filing experience, hotel or real estate industry a plus, advanced MS Word and Excel knowledge, Great Plains and FRX Report Writer a plus, able to prioritize, works well independently and has excellent communication skills.
