Where You Fit In
We are seeking a polished, professional Senior Accountant who can perform detailed quantitative and qualitative tasks to support the company’s operations in compliance with GAAP principles. This role is perfect for a recent Sr. Accountant looking to diversify his/her experience, or a Jr. Accountant with significant experience, ready to take on new responsibilities. We are looking only for those candidates who are committed to excellence in their roles!
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the following:
o Update daily and monthly collateral borrowing base.
o Perform invoice accrual.
o Reconcile GL balances.
o Maintain fixed assets.
o Perform monthly and annual closing activities.
o Assist in financial statement preparation.
o Participate in bank and financial audit.
o Produce ad hoc reports and participate in projects as needed.
o Manage, support, and mentor Jr. Staff.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, the following are required:
o Bachelors Degree in Accounting, minimum 3.0 GPA
o 3-5 years of General Accounting experience- corporate or Big Four firm experience preferred
o Excellent computer skills: Advanced Excel (a must). SAP, Microsoft Office.
o High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
o Multitasking experience.
o Strong sense of urgency.
