Senior Accountant
Fisher Investments is a privately-held investment management firm headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area managing portfolios for high-net-worth private clients and some of the world's preeminent institutions. We've grown significantly and are now seeking a highly talented individual to join our team as a Senior Accountant to support our rapidly growing and dynamic Finance Department.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Coordinate and arrange reconciliations, support schedules, and post adjustments
• Review and maintain adequate controls over monitoring the firm's tax liabilities
• Collaborate with our Controller in preparing and analyzing consolidated financial statements
• Offer analytical figures in the budgeting process and monthly variance analysis
• Prepare schedules for annual audits and quarterly reviews
• Review and analyze balance sheet activity
• Work with the finance team and senior management on various projects
• Contribute in establishing company policies and procedures
• Automate and improve existing processes and methodologies
Desired Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA required
• 3-5 years progressive accounting experience in both public and private sector
• Experience with an international money manager or similar financial services business is preferred
• Intermediate to advanced excel and database skills
• Excellent communication skills
