Senior Accountant – Ref.30080 recruitment
This expanding international fiduciary and finance company is seeking a Senior Accountant.
Responsibilities:
~ Assisting with the smooth running of the accounts and financial reporting function
~ Compiling and analyzing financial information
~ Preparing entries to accounts and reconciliation statements
~ Establishing, maintaining and coordinating the implementation of the accounting function
~ Liaising with Auditors for the audits of small to medium sized local and foreign companies
~ Assisting in the financial reporting for allocated companies and in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS's and Cyprus Companies Law
~ Liaising with Inland Revenue and VAT authorities as required
~ Preparation of annual tax computations
~ Liaising with auditors and facilitating the audit for allocated companies
~ Preparation of reports
Requirements:
~ Newly qualified ACA or ACCA
~ Excellent bookkeeping and accounting knowledge
~ Knowledge of English is essential; Greek would be considered an advantage
~ Solid knowledge of IFRSs and Cyprus Companies Law and Tax Legislation
~ Experience in conducting external audits
~ Experience with CaseWare will be considered an advantage
