Responsibilities:
- Research and respond to outstanding payments queries
- Code invoices according to proper GL accounts and cost centers
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Prepare and maintain accruals and aging schedules
- Assist with cash management schedules and execution of wire/check and ach payments
- Cooperate with team members of the Group Finance function and with Deputy Controller by appropriate involvement, communication and escalation of material issues.
- Support and ensure completion of statutory US legal entity accounting.
- Work with Group Finance, take responsibility for the design, implementation, performance and monitoring of key financial controls within your area.
- Support internal and external auditors in completing audit reviews, including regulatory auditors.
- Ensure the development of the finance function by supporting the implementation of the finance strategy and key objectives.
- Continue to build role as point of contact for local cost centre managers to understand finance functions, including workflow process, account ownership, travel and expense policies, expense analysis, reporting needs, etc.
- Work with London business finance partnering as point of contact for local cost centre managers.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree
- Accountant with at least 5 years accounting experience
- Financial services / investment industry experience
- Ability to make decisions and enforce policies preserving the integrity of internal controls
