Senior Analyst
Harvey Nash is recruiting for an experienced Senior Analyst to work within a successful and developing Front Office Credit Risk function in Glasgow. This team is responsible for producing risk metrics which make sense and can be used for monitoring swings and exposure in capital. This is a role which will allow you to operate across the Credit Risk Reporting function. As a senior analyst in the control room sub team, you will sit on top of the risk production process and ensure that the risk data produced is verified before communicating results to senior management. This is a unique governance role which will enable you to be embedded in financial markets.
This is a role which requires a high attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to plug into the analysis figures of multiple teams, understand their concerns and communicate them to senior stakeholders on a daily basis.
Key responsibilities will include:
-Monitoring daily work flow to ensure daily verification standards will be met.
-Working with a team of Analyst and Counterparty Controllers to ensure all verification stages are accurately completed in appropriate timescales.
-Strong ability to identify, raise and communicate any issues to senior management.
-Produce, monitor and circulate the daily waterfall and commentary.
-Ensure regulatory compliance with Basel standards.
