Senior Analyst
We are seeking a Senior Analyst/Relationship Manager with an exceptional track record of business development to market quantitative equity funds to investors across the Asia Pacific region with a particular focus on the Australasian and Japanese markets. The position will be initially Far East based, relocating to Australia in the near term. This is a key strategic hire for the firm and, as such, requires an individual who can demonstrate a history of achievement combined with the gravitas to succeed within a leading investment manager.
Responsibilities:
- Implement company strategy in the Asia Pacific region in line with global objectives and business critical deadlines
- Possess and develop contemporary knowledge of the hedge fund industry
- Demonstrate superior analytical skills and be capable of presenting complex topics clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Market and promote to, and generate additional investment from, existing and potential institutional investors
- Develop client relationships and thereby enhance the firm’s reputation in the region
- Travel as required and meet with senior investment decision makers
- Attend and present at relevant seminars across the region
Requirements:
- Exceptional analytical, mathematical and presentation skills
- Indepth knowledge of quantitative equity investment products
- Good understanding of technology underpinning quantitative investment systems and a comprehensive knowledge of investment trading strategies
- Demonstrable career development within the hedge fund/asset management industry
- Relevant regulatory framework knowledge and qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills
