The Role
They are looking for an outstanding analyst to conduct investment manager research on known and potential equity fund managers. The role involves exposure to both the risk management and investment processes of the firm, and includes:
- You will provide analytical support to the research team by quantitative and qualitatively analysing portfolios, enhancing and developing research tools, procedures, and initiatives.
- Research any potential new investment managers in order to generate new avenues for investment.
- Portfolio construction and optimization in line with the company's investment philosophy and requirements.
- Contribution to the investment decision-making process.
- Quantitative analysis of various fund strategies.
- Conduct factor-based risk assessment.
What they are looking for
To be considered for the role you must have:
- An educational background in finance/investments
- A minimum 5 years' experience in a fund manager selection / research role focussing on equity fund manager.
- An excellent knowledge of the global universe of long-only managers.
- Experienced in fundamental analysis.
