Mgr, M&A/ Post-Merger Integration
High impact, high profile opportunity offered by this prestigious financial institution to a high calibre individual with proven people management skills and MA experience gained either from a transactional or post-merger integration perspective. An understanding of strategy and the business models of insurers and/or banks is essential.
Situated within a regulatory environment, day to day responsibilities are extremely varied and will require the successful candidate to be able to manage change in situations where priorities and focus constantly evolve. Superior academics are essential and will be complemented by a relevant professional qualification (accountancy, legal or CFA), together with excellent critical analysis skills, report writing ability and the ability to use good judgement often in highly pressurised situations and working with incomplete information. Previous MA experience will be gained from a banking, legal or consultancy environment and applications are also invited from Business Strategy managers with post-merger experience gained from the insurance or banking sectors.
Applicants will be high achievers with a genuine interest in service improvement and people management. The ability to manage and develop a diverse team of professionally qualified individuals is essential, together with superior stakeholder management, communication, influencing and presentation skills.
