DM Services is a Credit Risk consulting firm to some of the
DM Services is seeking a talented individual to join their Analytics department as a Senior Analyst. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the system that scores and select customers for marketing contacts. The perfect candidate will have a passion for using data to produce actionable results using SQL and SAS and a talent for writing concise, efficient and well documented code.
- Maintain existing code base using sound programming practices
- Assist and train marketing analysts and marketing services to use system to score customers and select candidates for marketing contacts
- Track performance of scores and recommend models for refitting
- Work with analysts to build new predictive models on a regular basis
- Research improvements to the set of predictive data
- Consult with outside vendors to test new demographic and transactional data
- Monitor performance of system and perform routine file housekeeping
Requirements:
A Bachelors Degree in a Business and/or Quantitative discipline preferred (i.e., Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Marketing, Business).
Ability to write efficient SQL code to extract large amounts of transactional data
- SAS programming including
- Macro programming
- Use of arrays
- Automated prompting in EG projects
- Error handling
- Knowledge of production coding practices including revision control
- Strong math and statistics background
- Regression modeling and data mining experience preferred
