Senior Analyst/Junior Associate
This is one of the largest banks in the world and its bespoke investment banking solutions span all products and industries in developed and developing nations around the globe. It is a household band name, particularly in Asia with a growing Australian platform. Recently, a head of resources investment banking has been hired to broaden the local footprint within the MA product and to build out the local team.
This role will be the second hire into this team and as such, the individual will have unparalleled exposure to the new business head. You will be introduced to all of the bank’s clients and products (eg MA, DCM, leveraged finance and project finance) and operate at a much more senior level than in a comparable position in a larger investment banking team or in a Big 4 environment.
Ideally, you will have 3-6 years’ of prior banking experience. You will have a collegiate approach and work well with other departments through your first class communication skills. We would prefer candidates who have had access to other banking products rather than just MA and you will have rigorous attention to detail. Your modelling and numerical skills will be well developed and the level of autonomy that this position will afford means that only mature and disciplined candidates should apply.
