Senior Anti Bribery & Corruption Manager
Due to continued growth of their Financial Crime division, a leading global bank require a Senior Compliance Manager to lead on their business wide Anti Bribery Corruption Assurance programme. This role sits within wider AML Assurance and will report in to the Regional Head of AML Assurance. This role has a global footprint, you will be charged with leading and driving forward he groups assurance programme in relation to ABC.
Your key responsibilities will include
As subject matter expert for ABC, support and assist with the development of the Global Assurance Operating Model to ensure that Global Businesses and Regions are receiving best in class support in managing ABC risks and that the Global Compliance function is delivering effective oversight of those risks.
Drive the implementation of ABC assurance standards and work programmes aimed at ensuring that Compliance is delivering effective, accurate and consistent oversight over the adequacy of ABC-related controls and the management of associated risk.
Provide the Global Head of Financial Crime and the Global Head of ABC with an accurate and current view of the exposure to related risk, making recommendations for improvements/enhancements as appropriate and supporting the appropriate escalation of issues
For this role it is essential that you are not only technically very strong on ABC but also have built up experience developing very strong assurance and control framework design methodologies that you can apply to this role. The bank is in the middle of a global change programme across Financial Crime, and so you will need to be able to manage multiple work streams effectively and work to what can sometimes be tight deadlines.
You will be very well supported by the wider financial crime teams as well as the ABC team. You will need to possess gravitas and strong leadership qualities. This is a culture that believes in hiring true team players, and one in hiring managers that are very able developers of their teams.
