Steel Trader, Europe (Steel, Trading, Metals, Physical, Ferrous Metals, Scandinavia, Africa, Central America)
I am working with a leading trading house that is seeking for a senior candidate to expand and develop in Scandinavian, African and Central American markets. This position is focusing purely on steel trading with knowledge in a range of different types and markets.
Responsibilities for this position:
- Responsible for building and developing new clients and business activities across the appropriate region in addition to maintaining relationships with the existing client base.
- Trade a profitable book of physical steel products.
- Assist in expansion plans of the team across the appropriate region; with the long term view of building the team in that location.
Skills/ Attributes required for the role:
- 4/5 Years of steel trading experience
- Would have strong product knowledge in pipes, tin and pre painted material.
- Well established knowledge and networks across the region.
- Proven track records in sales and profits
- Highly motivated and driven
- Good communication skills.
