Senior Associate

Our client is a leading regulatory body within the GCC region who is looking to expand their asset management supervision team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate to join a growing regulatory authority body. Your responsibilities will include working closely with asset management team and build strong and effective relationships with asset management and advisory institutions to implement a pro-active risk mitigation programmes and strategies.

The candidate will enjoy working in a relatively flat structure and with a clear line of progression.  

Our client will look to assess candidates with a strong background within the asset management regulatory space. With experience ideally gained within a regulatory body such as the FSA, bank of England, financial regulatory authority or any asset management and advisory firm.

The successful candidate should hold a recognised Degree in finance, insurance, economics or Law. You should have professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, ACCA or CIMA would be preferred. Candidates with MBAs are encouraged to apply.

You should have a minimum of three years relevant work experience as an analyst within asset management or a regulatory body. Experience of securities regulation would be preferred.

Candidates from a consulting background with asset management experience may also be considered.

You should posses a strong analytical and client mindset with appreciation of the business issues. You should also be a good team leader and have excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.

You should be computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office applications.

Preference will be given to candidates with previous GCC experience and to those who are fluent in Arabic. It is essential that you are willing to relocate to the GCC.
