About the role
We are seeking a Senior Associate/ Executive to join our Liquidity Risk Management team within Group Treasury. You will be part of a team reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, responsible for managing the Group's capital, funding and liquidity position.
In this role you will:
- maintain and enhance liquidity modelling and scenario analysis – assisting with the regular liquidity scenario analysis processes including updating models, reviewing information provided by business units and conducting variance analysis
- provide analysis and input into the liquidity modelling decision making process
- work with Macquarie's business units to optimise liquidity management practices – both within Australia and globally
- provide support to the liquidity management team across a range of diverse projects
- keep up to date with regulatory liquidity developments
About you
To be successful, you will have the confidence, drive and problem solving skills to innovate and deliver great outcomes. You will also have:
- an understanding of financial markets and the instruments traded on these
- a strong academic background including degree qualification
- outstanding communication skills
- a team oriented approach to working with colleagues (both in Australia and offshore)
- ability to work with minimal supervision on recurring responsibilities
- exceptional attention to detail
- a genuine interest in the financial services industry
- CA , CPA, CFA or FRM qualification (or part qualification) would be an advantage
