We are currently seeking a Federal Advisory Senior Associate to join us in our Lexington Park, MD office.

As a Financial Management professional, you can help businesses in strengthening their finance operations by improving transparency, information integrity, and controls to help build and maintain stakeholder trust. We also help support their efforts to apply the finance discipline that can drive performance and lower costs.

Responsibilities:

-Review and evaluate financial risk, financial reporting, and accounting transactions processes including controls related to federal entities
-Handle the review and evaluation of federal financial business processes and financial statements
-Supervise and review work performed by other staff and interact with the manager on client and team matters
-Serve as a liaison between clients and upper management
-Identify and communicate technical matters to both clients and upper management

Qualifications:

-Four years of experience in auditing and accounting/financial advisory services
-Bachelor of Arts/ Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college/university in Accounting or a related discipline
-Experience in Department of Defense and Navy financial improvement efforts and in the preparation, review, and/or analysis of financial statements for federal and/or local government entities
-Financial and systems controls/accounting and functional support services for Department of Defense (DoD), Navy, or federal clients experience preferred
-Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance within a reasonable amount of time
-U.S. citizenship required
