Senior Audit Manager / Audit Manager – Consumer Bank Small & Medium Enterprises (SME) recruitment
This leading international bank has operated for over 150 years in some of the world's most dynamic market is looking for Senior/Audit Manager in the Financial Markets team. Reporting to the Head of Audit, your responsibilities will include:
- To undertake risk assessments and perform or lead, internal audit engagements of Consumer Bank Small Medium Enterprises (SME) to provide ongoing assurance over the effectiveness of the design and implementation of controls in place.
- Develop effective working relationships with Management of business units for which incumbent has risk assessment responsibility.
- Act as liaison with Management to ensure full understanding of business strategy, plans, products, performance and risk-related issues at business unit level and communicating these to the relevant Functional Team members via bottom-up continuing risk assessments and dialogue.
- Perform, support or lead the planning, fieldwork, and reporting of internal audit engagements to deliver agreed assurance objectives to established standards and timelines.
The ideal candidate should be an experienced internal auditor, risk professional or business practitioner who is a deep subject matter expert in Consumer Banking products, segments and or channels in particular SME. Accounting / Audit qualification preferred (including e.g. ACA, ACCA, IIA) or Audit of Corporate Banking Credit experience. Effective collaborative skills, flexibility to work across different functions and situations globally is necessary. He/she has to demonstrate ability to think objectively and "think outside the box" when analyzing issues and recommending / developing solutions. The ideal candidate has the ability to commit 40% business travel.
