My client is a global leader in insurance and reinsurance with UK offices based in the City of London. They are now seeking to hire an experienced auditor with insurance experience.

The purpose of the role is to assist with the delivery of the audit programme producing audit reports, putting together audit plans, undertaking Sarbannes- Oxley tests and financial transactional testing.

Reporting into the Audit Manager in the European team the role of Internal Auditor will need to have the ability and flexibility to engage on audits overseas so will need to commit to 40% travel.

Ideally you will be fully qualified accountant or part qualified or will at least be looking towards completing either an accountancy qualification or insurance industry equivalent.

You must have some understanding of insurance business/accounting and regulatory concepts and you must be well verse in corporate governance and financial services regulatory environments.

It is essential that you are fluent in English both written and spoken. Fluency in another main European language is desirable.
