Senior Auditor – Professional Practices – Charlotte, NC

Position Description:

The Professional Practices Senior Auditor will report to an Auditor Director on the Professional Practices team, and will be responsible for executing quality assurance reviews, assisting with departmental process improvement initiatives, and assisting with the day-to-day operational responsibilities of the Professional Practices team.

Principal Accountabilities:

•             Execute quality assurance reviews of completed audits and/or advisory projects.

•             Participate as a team member on various process improvement projects designed to meet departmental needs.

•             Assist in maintaining departmental data tracking systems

•             Prepare departmental reports

•             Assist in maintaining departmental policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements:

•             2+ years of internal audit experience

•             Experience with large geographically dispersed corporate functions (audit preferred)

•             Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

•             Experience with audit tools and software solutions (CCH TeamMate preferred)

•             Detail-oriented, deadline driven, self-directed and organized

•             Strong written and verbal communications skills

•             Proven ability to excel both as an individual contributor and in highly interactive team environments

•             Proven analytical problem solving skills

•             4 year college degree in related field

•             Certification preferred (CIA, CPA, CISA)

•             Occasional travel required
