Senior AVP Financial Controller – Rates recruitment
A top-Tier Investment Bank is looking to recruit an exceptional qualified accountant for a sought after Financial Control role to work within their wider Rates team.
The main responsibilities are:
• Daily cash and position reconciliation and investigation for a variety of products for the Hedge Fund books.
• The posting and reporting of balances.
• Month end reporting reconciliations
• Liaising with key stakeholders in order to follow up any differences between the management and financial accounts found in the reconciliation production.
• Alongside more general Control roles, also dealing with more specific accounts, including FX positions.
Person Specification:
• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with excellent skills and experience within a variety of product classes including Rates, Derivatives, Loans, and Bonds.
• Detailed knowledge of Control, ideally gained within an investment banking or financial services environment.
• Experience of business process re-engineering
• PL and reconciliations experience is highly desirable
• A personable nature, able to easily and professionally liaise with senior staff.
