Senior AVP – Flow Credit Product Controller recruitment
An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen at Global Top Tier Investment Banking powerhouse. After recent growth and expansion they are seeking a high calibre candidate to join their team at Senior AVP level as a Flow Credit Product Controller. Reporting to the Head of Credit you will be joining a close-knit team of Analysts.
You will be responsible for day-to-day activities including the Production Analysis of PL for the Credit book. In addition to this you will be working around the Balance Sheet performing Analysis, Commentary, Control and Reporting tasks. You will gain exposure to ad hoc project work actively questioning current processes and increasing efficiency by systems improvements. Your remit will be such that you will be forging strong working relationships with various departments such as Front Office, IT and Senior Management.
The ideal candidate will display a strong academic record with a Degree (2:1 or above) in a numerate subject. You will have a minimum of 4 years experience working in a Product Control function within Credit/Fixed Income/Rates in an Investment Bank and have a thorough understanding of Vanilla Credit products such as CDS, ABS and also FI/Rates. You will also be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) and have strong technical skills with high levels of proficiency in Excel and other relevant systems.
