Senior Business Analyst For Product Control Change

ROLE SUMMARY:
DPLBSC Process Adoption Singapore Branch projects aims at delivering for Singapore Branch - a key FSI entity - the business end state PC architecture. This includes: PC Data Warehouse reporting, the Workstation, the strategic Reconciliation tool and the strategic Clean PL solution.
The analyst will work on delivering complete workstreams within each projects: from Definition to Go-live. The work will involve gathering requirements from PC clients and working with PCIT to design and deliver corresponding solution. The candidates needs to have strong client management and facilitation skills as well as SME knowledge of the core PC processes.
This is a senior position for a Business Analyst role to work on FSI DPLBSC Process Adoption Singapore Branch.
THE ROLE INVOLVES:
- Undertake Business Analyst responsibilities on DPLBSC Process Adoption Singapore Branchproject
- Work closely with PC / PC Change to understand and document data and business requirements
- Perform business analysis on PC reporting solution to identify and address functionality gaps
- Collaborate with IT teams to interpret business requirements
- Develop test approach, test scenarios and test cases
- Perform functional testing and analyse defects in collaboration with IT teams
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for PC / PC Change and analyse defects in collaboration with IT teams
- Conduct working group meetings with PC / PC Change, IT teams and other project teams
- Build and maintain good relationships with key PC and PC Change at a working level
- Provide progress updates to project managers and raise risks, issues and dependencies promptly.

The CFO Change Group supports change activities across CFO in the APAC region. In addition the Singapore based team is involved in global initiatives in conjunction with peer groups in London and New York. The change activities involve process, organisational and technology improvement projects aimed at improving the CFO division’s ability to support the business areas.
TO QUALIFY, YOU MUST POSSESS:
- Work experience of 5+ years in either or a combination of the following: Consulting Services industry, Audit Advisory services industry or Financial Services industry
- Undergraduate degree in Accountancy, Business or Commerce
- Strong analytical skills and ability to define and apply logical approach to issue resolution
- Strong communication (written, verbal, presentational) skills
- Good team player
Additional Relevant Experience or Capabilities:
• Demonstrated foundation of Business Analysis as it relates to CFO processes through Project
business analyst roles; and/or
• Understanding of Product Control processes
• Experience in implementing reporting solutions that utilise core infrastructure such as data
warehouses, calculation and reporting engines in the Financial Services Industry
• Experience of process change management and benefit realisation
