Senior Business Analyst – Liquidity and Investment Management recruitment
As a Business Analyst, you will be expected to focus on managing business requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities will include:
- Defining the requirements strategy
- Building estimates for Business Analysis resource
- Creating detailed requirements
- Process mapping and development
- Usability and accessibility reviews
- Building prototypes
- Data analysis
- Support for UAT design and execution
Experience
- Willing to work towards a recognised formal qualification in Business Analysis and/or analytical tools and structured analytical techniques e.g. ISEB Business Analyst Diploma is desirable
- Knoweldge of transactional banking, liquidity and investment management areas.
- Change Management or related Project Management experience with a proven ability to work on own initiative to deliver optimum business solutions
- Applied knowledge of standard accepted BA principles and methodologies (such as Use Cases, UML, RUP, Six Sigma, Lean).
- Process modelling through the use of analytical tools and structured analytical techniques
- Understanding of Project Management Frameworks, documentation standards, Project Lifecycle planning
- Competent use of project tools e.g. MS Project
- Competent use of Microsoft Office
- Can demonstrate numeracy skills in relation to analysis
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to understand conceptual ideas and how they translate into meaningful solutions
- Excellent PC skills including the ability to use PowerPoint and other applications to produce complex reports, spreadsheets and presentations to an excellent quality, suitable for the audience
- Ability to work in partnership with the business areas and Change Managers to manage effectively the links with operations, project staff and other programmes
- Ability to manage own workload by prioritising activities, balancing conflicting demands and working on own initiative
- Requirement to travel may feature
