SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST
DESCRIPTION:
Reporting directly to the business architect, the succesful candidate will assist in the operation of a new programme, developed to deliver new functionality to support a new client take-on, transitioning fund accounting and custody to the internal business units.
CORE RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Defining the key components which constitute the end-to-end
- Identifying solution options through robust and structured analysis
- Documenting accurately and clearly recommendations on specific operating model issues and presenting these within appropriate internal and external forums
- Identify and articulating where proposed solutions for clients align or misalign with standard operating model, and the business implications of any divergence
- Prepare workflow and gap analysis for the future state operating model and transitional states
- Analyse services required and complete detailed business requirements to address these in particular where services may be tactical during the transitional period.
- Support each of the stages of testing, as appropriate, including preparing test scripts and data, executing test scripts and analysing outputs
- Ability to articulate problems statements, business analysis, solution options and recommendations in a clear, concise and structured manner, to facilitate understanding across key stakeholders
- Provide clear, concise and accurate written and verbal reports to stakeholders
- Prepare well structured, clear and well-presented project deliverables
- Ensure compliance with internal standards

CORE REQUIREMENTS:
- Third Party Administrator and/or Transfer Agency experience within a securities services environment
- Experience of middle office functions and the interrelationship between middle office and front office/back office systems and processes within the Investment/Asset Management sector
- Must be able to understand and interpret complex business and IT processes
- Previous exposure to all stages of an operational lifecycle
- ICON systems knowledge is an advantage
- Proven experience in a cross functional (Business and IT) business process analysis.
- Previous experience in documenting multi-site cross functional operational processes.
